RISE/NOFIRNO Test

RISE/NOFIRNO and RISE/ULTRA are fire safe as well as gas and water tight systems. The system has no metal parts thus avoiding corrosion on the pipe work. The perfect sealing of the NOFIRNO sealant also avoids (invisible) corrosion within the penetration.

The NOFIRNO rubber has excellent properties regarding exposure to fire and excessive temperatures.
NOFIRNO rubber can be used in a very wide temperature range from -50° C up to +180° C. That means that with one rubber grade almost all sealing conditions can be covered now. Numerous fire tests have shown that the rubber NOFIRNO plugs withstand fire and thermal loads without showing dramatic colour change or carbonization at the unexposed side. At the exposed side the rubber will NOT be consumed by the fire due to the protective layer and char formed. This means that the seal stays in place there.

RISE/NOFIRNO is successfully tested according to EN1366-3:2004 and classified according to EN 13501-2:2003 up to E120/EI120.
